A social place.

Client: Argosy Property.

A cool site to capture the energy and excitement of a very cool place.

Snickel Lane is the latest retail development from the team at Argosy. A cool place inspired by the laneways of Melbourne, Snickel Lane is a shared eating space. Grab a meal or a drink from any of the restaurants, bars and cafes in the Lane and grab a seat with new and old friends in the common area.

This extremely social place required an extremely social website. With little to work with beyond a logo, we set out to define the wider identity and how it translates to an online experience. Given the youthful audiences, we took a bold visual approach with colours, fonts, images and textures to add lots of movement, lots of energy and lots of opportunities to elevate the latest offerings and promotions. And of course, being mobile friendly, easily found through search, offering free wifi to patrons while at the Lane and being well integrated with the social media channels we established, were all key drivers in the site’s design and build approach.
